- Acknowledge and respect different traditions of biblical understanding in the Christian Church.
- Enable autistic Christians to build biblical perspectives on topics of interest to them.
- Broaden cognitive skills and confidence in biblical interpretation for autistic Christians.
- Establish a ‘community’ (functioning primarily through relationships) that is ‘autism-friendly’.
- Affirm autism as a God-given ‘way to be’ – which is not addressed specifically on Scripture.
- Prove ‘helpfully disruptive’ insights to the Church.
- Manipulate people or promote any tradition of biblical understanding.
- Simply provide ‘point answers’ to ‘point questions’.
- Provide a general or comprehensive course on hermeneutics.
- Establish a ‘group’ (functioning primarily through meetings).
- Use the Bible either to justify autism or to prescrive ‘remedies’.
- Either simply conform or needlessly object to Church norms.
